Radical Kindness in Five Easy Steps​

Learn about the Five-Step Method to set boundaries, ask for help, resolve conflict, or show up for a friend with kindness and  effectiveness. You'll also learn about the Wheel of Kindness and the Kindness Self-Assessment to better understand your kindness strengths and weaknesses. These tools are also fun and meaningful for families. Lastly, attendees will have a chance to present particular challenges they are facing to receive feedback on how kindness could be used to address/resolve these challenges.

America’s political divides seem to get wider every year. In this talk we will explore how taking a radical approach to kindness can bring people together to work across party lines to achieve social justice, prosperity, inclusion and belonging in Maine’s communities, in Washington, and throughout America. We will share about the work of Acts of Kindness Maine and invite participants to share their stories of acts of kindness. We will also explore how Moral Courage goes hand-in-hand with kindness.
